2.3.1.Delivery Estimates
At Ugems co., we strive to ensure your jewellery reaches you as swiftly as possible. Please note that all delivery timeframes provided at checkout or in confirmation emails are estimates only and do not constitute a legal guarantee.
While we work closely with our courier partner to meet these timelines, actual delivery dates may be impacted by factors beyond our control, including local customs processing, carrier delays, and peak seasonal volumes. Furthermore, please account for Public Holidays, as these may extend the anticipated arrival time. We appreciate your patience and recommend placing orders well in advance for special occasions to account for these potential variations.
2.3.2.Transfer of Risk & delivery Obligations
To ensure the security of your purchase and the integrity of the delivery process, Ugems co. only dispatches to permanent, physical street addresses. We are unable to facilitate deliveries to PO Boxes, mail-forwarding services, temporary residences, or incomplete postal addresses. By placing an order, you confirm that the destination provided is a secure and permanent location where the recipient can personally accept the parcel.
Your order will be dispatched to the exact delivery address provided at the point of checkout. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to ensure that all shipping information—including house numbers, street names, and postcodes—is entered accurately. Ugems co. accepts no liability for delivery failures, delays, or lost consignments resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address information provided by the customer. The risk of loss or damage to the products passes to you, the customer, at the moment the goods are delivered to the address specified in your order. Once the courier has confirmed delivery to the provided destination, Ugems co. is no longer responsible for the security or condition of the parcel.
2.4.1.Right to Cancel
You have the right to cancel your purchase and receive a full refund within 28 days of receiving your goods. You are not required to provide a reason for cancellation within this period; however, the items must be returned in their original, unworn condition with all Ugems co. security tags and packaging intact.

While Ugems co. offers a 28-day return period for most of our signature collections, please be advised that for health and hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on any pierced jewellery (including earrings and ear charms).
This exclusion applies regardless of whether the items have been worn, as we cannot verify the sterile integrity of the piece once it has left our controlled environment. We recommend that you carefully review all product specifications and imagery before finalising your purchase. This policy ensures the safety and well-being of all our clients, guaranteeing that every piece of pierced jewellery purchased from Ugems co. is entirely pristine and unworn.
2.4.3.Condition for Return
To qualify for a successful return and full refund, all items must be returned to our studio in original, pristine condition. This requires that the jewellery is unworn, undamaged, and free from any signs of wear—including microscopic scratches on the 3-micron Gold Vermeil or Rhodium plating.
Furthermore, items must be returned in their complete original packaging, which includes the signature Ugems co. presentation box and protective velvet pouch. These elements are considered an integral part of the product; as such, returns that are missing packaging or arrive in a diminished state may be subject to a restocking fee or may be declined and returned to the sender.
2.5.1.Scope
At Ugems co., we stand behind the exceptional craftsmanship of every piece. Your purchase is accompanied by a two-year limited guarantee, effective from the original date of purchase, which provides protection against any inherent manufacturing faults or material defects. This warranty ensures that your jewellery meets our rigorous standards for structural integrity and artisanal quality.
Please be advised that this guarantee is intended to cover unforeseen structural issues and does not extend to natural wear and tear, such as the gradual depletion of surface plating (Gold Vermeil and Rhodium), surface scratches from daily use, or the thinning of bands. Furthermore, the guarantee does not cover accidental damage, loss, or instances of improper handling and storage contrary to our ‘Jewellery Care’ guidelines. To maintain your warranty, any repairs or alterations must be performed exclusively by our studio; work carried out by third-party jewellers will render this guarantee void.
2.5.2.The Process

Order Identification: Your original Ugems co. order number.
Assessment Details: A concise description of the issue or the nature of the damage encountered.
Visual Documentation: One or more high-resolution photographs showing the piece in its entirety, as well as a clear close-up of the specific area of concern.
Proof of Warranty: Validation of your two-year guarantee is subject to the provision of your original order number. We recommend retaining this reference for your records.
Review Process: Upon receipt of your documentation, our specialists will conduct a preliminary assessment. We will contact you promptly with an update, providing guidance on secure transit to our studio for a physical inspection or a direct resolution. Should a fault be identified as a manufacturing defect within the two-year period, Ugems co. will bear all shipping costs for the return, inspection, and subsequent resolution.
2.6.1.Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ugems co. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary losses or damages arising from your use of our website or the purchase of our products.
This includes, without limitation, any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity. We shall not be held responsible for any losses that were not reasonably foreseeable to both parties at the time the contract was formed, nor for any losses arising from delayed delivery, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages (for example, in relation to a specific event or gift deadline).
